In March 2025, VENTspace will be presenting a multi-day Resident Showcase - exhibiting a plethora of art works, performances, practices and perspectives created by VENTspace Resident Artists both past and present. For 10 consecutive days, the VENTspace venue will be transformed by our largest group exhibition to-date, as well as various activation events hosted and curated by different Resident Artists. The Showcase kicks off with Opening Night celebrations on the 13th of March (6pm-11pm), with various resident-curated activation events across the following 10 days!
The VENTspace Resident Showcase will explore the depth and diversity of creative expression. By presenting our community’s emerging and established talents, we wish to invite the wider public to engage, reflect on, and appreciate their own creative spirit. The VENTspace Resident Showcase will platform and spotlight over 35 artists who have previously been, or are current a Resident Artist at VENTspace.
The Exhibition will be a multi-disciplinary, accessible experience for members of the public to explore contemporary, experimental works reflecting our city. We invite new and existing audiences to celebrate and become part of VENTspace’s growing community. We hope all attendees walk away with a greater sense of belonging and appreciation for Brisbane’s vibrant arts offerings.
